Information:- 


Veg Biryani is a staple Indian dish made with

a mixture of rice, vegetables, 

spices and vegetable oil. 

It is a very tasty and pink colored dish 

which is prepared by mixing biryani spices and 

vegetables with amaltas.

It is one of the staple dishes of Indian cuisine 

and is often served on special occasions 

such as holidays or grand festivals.


Material:- 


1. Rice - 1 cup (prefer basmati rice) 


2. Onion - 1 medium size, chopped 


3. Tomato - 2 medium sized, chopped 


4. Carrot - 1 medium size, chopped 


5. Cauliflower - 1 cup, cut into small pieces 


6. Batata - 1 medium sized, chopped 


7. Green chilies - 1-2, chopped (optional) 

8. Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp, chopped 


9. Mint - 2 tbsp, chopped 


10. Curd - 1/2 cup 


11. Garlic Ginger Paste - 1 tbsp 


12. Biryani Masala - 1 tbsp 


13. Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon 


14. Turmeric - 1/2 tea spoon 


15. Garam Masala - 1/2 tea spoon 


16. Fresh mint and green chili - for garnish


17. Ghee - 2 tbsp 


18. Oil - 2 tbsp 


19. Salt - as per taste 


20. Water - 2 cups


Method:- 


1. Heat oil and ghee in a pan. 

Then fry the onion golden brown in the pan.


2. Now add garlic ginger paste and add tomatoes along with it. tomatoes are soft 


3. Now add Biryani Masala, Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric and Garam Masala. Mix all the spices well. 


4. Now add carrot, potato, cauliflower and green chili (optional). Sauté the vegetables on low flame for 3-4 minutes. 


5. Now add curd and mix all the ingredients well.


6. Now wash the rice, drain the water and put it in the pan. Also add 2 cups of water, salt and green chillies. 


7. Once it starts boiling, lower the flame to medium and cover with a lid. Cook the biryani on medium heat for 15-20 minutes, until the rice is cooked and all the ingredients mix well. 


8. Biryani is ready! Serve hot veg biryani garnished with green chillies and mint leaves.
